The world’s leading agricultural machinery exhibition, EIMA International 2026, will take place in Bologna from November 10 to 14, and all indicators suggest that this year’s edition will be the largest in the event’s history. Organizers have already confirmed the participation of 1,800 exhibitors, while more than 100 companies remain on the waiting list, reflecting unprecedented industry interest.
To accommodate the record demand, the exhibition grounds are being expanded. For the first time, the Maserati Area will become part of the exhibition, alongside the new Hall 35 and three temporary halls. More than 60,000 models of agricultural machinery, equipment, and technological solutions are expected to be showcased, once again making EIMA the global hub for agricultural mechanization.
According to the organizer, FederUnacoma, EIMA is much more than a trade fair. General Manager Simona Rapastella emphasized that the exhibition brings together innovation, business opportunities, and international cooperation.
“Trade fairs optimize marketing, showcase new technologies, and build trust among professionals from around the world. At a time when protectionism and geopolitical tensions are slowing the sector, EIMA plays an even more important role by connecting countries and encouraging commercial, industrial, scientific, and technological cooperation,” Rapastella said.
Visitors from 150 countries are expected, while the Italian Trade Agency (ICE) has already confirmed official delegations from 90 countries. The Extend area will host institutions, government representatives, and stakeholders from the agri-food sector.
This year’s edition will also introduce several new features. Alongside the traditional awards for innovation and exhibition stands, a new competition organized in cooperation with the Italian Association for Industrial Design (ADI) will recognize the best stand designs.
A strong focus will be placed on digital technologies, robotics, and smart farming solutions, highlighting the innovations that are shaping the future of modern agriculture.
Infrastructure and visitor services have also been enhanced, including improved transport connections to Bologna Airport, the railway station, and the city. The previous edition of EIMA International, held in 2024, attracted a record 350,000 visits, and organizers expect the 2026 edition to surpass that milestone.
